ATI 1800 replacement.

Hi,

I have an ATI 1800 that has finally failed on me.

Can someone suggest a like powered replacement from the current lineup available as I have no idea how they measure up with this older model.

I suggest the HD3850 512. You should be able to find it quite cheap and the performance is miles ahead of the 1800.

More powered and more expensive are the 9600GT and the 8800GT from nvidia.

if you can, try gun for the 3870, it's not that much more, but it goes like a beast...
