Has anyone used ATI equivalent of Nvidia's 3D, I've seen article on it before.

The list of compatible monitors isnt very many, even though its not on their list I imagine it should work on LG W2363D 23" TRUE 120Hz 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor

thoughts, views , opinions please....
I've ordered 2 sapphire 6950's which will be running in crossfire

If you want the best option for 3D then send your HD 6950's back and get Nvidia card(s).

+1

Nvidia make the 3D drivers themselves (AMD rely on middleware companies for the most part) and can make use of inexpensive dual-DVI 120Hz monitors (while AMD relies on HDMI 1.4 or Displayport 120Hz monitors).

If you plan to game a lot in 3D and your budget is modest, then I would also suggest swapping over for an Nvidia card and going for the LG 120Hz monitor you mention in the OP (it's a nice bit of kit at a low price) and the Nvidia 3D vision kit. Something like this GTX 570 would be a good option for playing modern games in 3D @ 1920x1080.
