Actually sorry to be awkward could you cancel that for me Fatboy. I will wait on the asus, an impulse buy that I didn't think through. I'm sure someone else will snap it up :).
 
fatboy can you in anyway confirm there will be any Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 5850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card being delivered next week and will there be enough stock or are they all been taken as back order i require two of these and want to order them asap when should i do this thanks.

Yeah you can, but Asus cover softmodding the voltages via their asus smartdoctor software in the warranty.

Warning to W7 users, this software caused BSOD's for me... had to roll back to vista x64

Rang up today to ask for the first/soonest 5870 that comes into stock, and was told the Gigabyte would be soonest. I'm still "In the warehouse queue" and I've noticed that there are two PowerColors in stock, but still no Gigabytes. Do you reckon they'll take the initiative to send me the PowerColor instead? Or have the Gigabytes already been sent out?

Same card yes, however I am willing to pay a little extra for the extended warranty and the warranty covering the software that allows me to play with the voltages. More control over them to with that software rather than doing it myself.
