Only bit of info I could glean is that it fixes Warhead for some people who had "stuttering". And speeds up GTA4 & works better with ARMA2.

Well i've just tried installed them

Besides wiping my x-fi xtremegamer of sound (re-install after driver sweeper got my sound back) these seem damn good for me (weird how now n again i get loss of sound when doing new ati drivers, happened now n again on abit ip35 pro also)

If it helps rough rig specs below

Sapphire 4870 512
Q6600 @ 3.6ghz
4x2 8500 ddr2 @ 1066
GA x48 dq6
Vista Ultimate x64

Excellent! Hopefully these don't re-introduce the 3D clock bug .

My 4870X2 certainly has been getting cooler with each release (surprising given that it is now the summer).

I always wait till they are officially up at ati.amd.com/support/driver, reason being tried a release of ati.driver’s 9.5 from unofficial site GFX card would not over clock, put 9.4’s back on OC’d ok. Waited till they were up at ati.amd.com/support/driver, download 9.5’s from their GFX card OC’d ok.

Sorry for the lack of updates, have added the XP driver and Win7 patch now :)
Unfortunately I don't have a changelog for those that asked, but as Orangey posted, better performance & fixes in Crysis Warhead (stuttering bug), GTA4, Arma 2 & Battlestations: Pacific. Apparently these also include new/optimized Crossfire profiles, but I don't have details of which ones.

These drivers are working great for me, no (or unnoticable) FPS gain in Arma 2, but a much smoother experience!

it was dodgy anyway, it seems.

just one of those things , one day its fine, next it starts to die, not sure why, but it never seemed right anyway, High temps and a very loud cooler. For a custom

than I have a all stock HD4870 512 it IS fine in fact it seems a little better than it was when I first got it :P good thing drivers are moving on
