Arc, no I didnt use any sweeper, just simply uninstalled the CCC software + driver from the control panel first. Will check out with a little gaming this evening, hopefully no hard lockups!

Well, I too am getting system lockups and no standby on my 5770.
Pretty unimpressed really - 9.12s were better. Wouldnt have changed if I hadnt of done a remaster.

Off to find 9.12 again.

Had no issues with 10.1 so far. Quite pleased that the 'waiting' window has gone which would sometimes appear when calling up ccc. 9.12's were good though as I remember.

9.12's were generally solid on my 5850, so far these 10.1's have given me more crashes, plus the annoying standby issue. Gonna roll back.

Ah the 10.1s give me the monitor not turning off
Just upgraded my system to and for the past week been thinking what could it be, changing settings checking leads.
oh well back to 9.12

Back on the 9.12's after the 10.1's causing hard lockups, played Grid for over an hour last night and not a single problem. Lesson learnt - leave drivers well alone until there's some good tried and tested feedback on them!
