So ive built a relativly cheap build today and everythings working fine apart from the graphics drivers dont seem to be doing there job right. Im running on a 32 bit Windows 7 full copy. I have a 22" monitor but the closest resolution I can get to is 1440 x 900. Im connecting directly to the graphics card.

My rig is:

* Sapphire HD 5750 512MB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card
* Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 Socket 775, 1156, 1366, AM2, AM3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler
* Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB Cache - OEM Caviar Blue
* Samsung SH-S223 22X DVD±RW/RAM/DL Serial ATA Black Bare Drive - OEM
* Antec 300 Three Hundred Case
* Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10600 Memory Kit CL9 1.5V
* AMD Athlon II X4 630 Socket AM3 2.8GHz 2MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
* OCZ Stealth XStream 600W PSU - SLI Ready ATX2.2 12cm Fan
* ASROCK M3A785GMH/128M 785G Sopcket AM3 VGA DVI HDMI Out 8 Channel Audio MATX Motherboard

I have COD4 installed (was going to test out my graphics) but the multiplayer keeps crashing, however the single player runs fine (but only goes to 1440 x 900)

Any advice, help but would be amazing!

Thanks,
Michael

The only thing I can think of is that you might have the refresh rate set too high.

A long shot but I can't think of anything else that would cause it.
