ATI Display Driver Issues

been having issues with my ATI Display Driver, it keeps crashing when i play games and every now and then watching videos ect.

could it be due to the ATI Overdrive Utility that i used to clock it up a bit?
 
yeah i just reset it to defaults and it works now.

i used the Auto Tune utility and i think it made the core clock 695mhz and the memory 1195.

i didn't really such a small increase would have made the difference lol
 
Well, one can never be sure about overclocking until you're actually working with the hardware. Some chips have a good reputation for clocking well, but in reality it's on an on-chip basis. Some will do well, others will be unstable at anything above stock speeds. Goes for any component really.
