Ati driver question

If i have cat 13.1 does it include the 12.11 caps or do i still need to download them again ? Thanks !

It wouldn't hurt to install the 12.11 CAP's 2 again for 13.1, which is the one your supposed to use

Could be wrong but arn't they for peeps with crossfire and not for a single GPU.

The CAPS have single GPU game profiles in them also.

As fare as I know the CAPs has never been a part of the main driver set. CAPS from my point of view should be looked at as a way to fix problems that you are experiencing, such as lower than expected FPS, lighting issues, stuttering or whatever it might be. If you have no issue there will be no need to install the CAP. Its also a way for AMD to release quick fixes for games without having to release an entire driver set yet again which cost money(Microsoft driver verification service is expensive ive heard).

The general thing to do though is to always have the best working driver installed with the latest released CAP.
