ATI Drivers and Source Based Games

Recently each driver set seems to give woeful performance with with TF2/L4D.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've noticed a slight amount of lag, but I'm putting it down to the L4D update and a rubbish internet connection.

Should try in single player to rule out the later.

I have got no lag on mine, you may be noticing microlag, disable xfire and test again mate.

Is multi core rendering enabled? I know it was re-enabled for me after crash course, switched it off, and it's all smooth again.

slight very slight my intel PC has a mini crash when you shut the door off the safe room :S

No driver issues here. The only problem I have is random disconnects from Left 4 Dead.
Other than that all source games run like butter on my 4870.
