Hey guys i have a 5830 and the benq 120hz monitor XL2140t i get lines across the screen. i believee i have found the probleme which is the ati power saving mode which underclocks the card for 2d stuff. does anyone know how to turn it off please help!

Disable ULPS.......google it mate.

Run regedit
Find "enableulps"
Change all to 0

ah thanks for the reply thats only for Crossfire it didnt work my card still underclocks in 2d mode i want it to remain at high clocks AKA 3d mode

Search for RacerX. It allows you to change the clocks on an ATI card
