Which is faster for folding this card PNY GeForce 8800 GT 256MB GDDR3 or this ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB GDDR3 .thanks.

Are the cards to get - all below 50w at load and around the 5k mark

the new gts 512mb is the next best in points per watt

Got a 8800gs of mm for £30 but my work pc has a via chip set so will not work
Will be swaping pc's soon

Do you think I'm better off getting this one then PNY GeForce 8800 GT 256MB how much ppd will these card make?

Update my folding rig is already up after a month of collecting the parts. 2 of 9800 GX2 cards came from MM the center card is a 9600GT.

According to Fahmon PPD varies between 12k to 15k and my watt meter says it sucks around 530watts of power max. :mad:

the unit is not 100% stable it would restart for no apparent reason and the clients would not load properly when it reboots and this thing just produced enough heat to heat up my small Flat size room.i dont even turn on the heating when it is running lol.i have taken it offline till i can figure out whats wrong with this setup.
