So basically the problem is that the ATI Overdrive option is not showing up in CCC which is annoying since it suppose to be available both in that version (CCC 11.9/11.10) and my gfx card(545v/4670). What gives?

Anyone had a similar problem? Is there a solution? Because re-installing CCC doesnt do jack ****. (Properly reinstalled with Driver Sweeper)

You are looking in the right place aren't you, open up vision engine control centre , click performance, then click graphics overdrive.

Can't think of any reason why just the overdrive section would be missing, failing that why not install a 3rd party application like MSi afterburner.

This is what my CCC looks like. The point is not in installing a 3rd party software, the point is I WANT OVERDRIVE back. Used it for fan monitoring and clock's and stuff.

oh yeah see what u mean now,

ok what graphics card do you have?
Don't use driver sweeper there is really no need for it, driver sweeper has probably messed up a registry entry (no end of people hae had problems when using it)

Have you tried re-downloading the CCC package just in case something was wrong with the download.

I have two systems one with a 545v and one with a 4670, both are missing the performance tab.

I wonder, maybe it has something to do with the Catalyst version, tho I am using the latest one, but for some reason yours is called AMD Vision Enginge Control Center, while mine is Catalyst Pro Control Center, is there a difference?

Oh I did re-download and re-installed CCC a couple of times on both systems.

is the rest of your system amd based or intel based

it only says amd vision engine control center if you have a amd CPU also

it's really strange that it's happening on both his rigs tho
545v= laptop
4670= desktop

suggests either something is wrong with both his rigs, the download is fubar or AMD have locked overclocking to certain cards

Right, some things are clear now, some are not.

Both are Laptops, should have mentioned that before and both are Intel based, one is an i7 and one is a q9000.

I'm not sure whether they 1x6 or 1x8 pin and the question about the cables is pretty confusing for me. Since both are laptops, only cable I have to worry about is a power cable.

I know for a fact that these two cards are not locked and can be overclocked...well the 4670 for sure. Since I have red a lot about people doing so on a laptop similar to mine.

Right now I'm confused.

sorry for the confusion, didn't realise they were laptops (should learn not to skim read)

might be an idea to completely wipe the drivers, then run ccleaner or something similar to get rid of any amd stuff left behind from the uninstall and try again
