Hey guys i just recieved my XFX HD 4890 today and I installed it and it runs ok but when i got into CCC and check ATI overdrive its unlocked already and i havent choose to unlock it.

I unlocked it before on my HD 4670 but that was a diffrent card so why is it saying its unlocked on my 4890 and the date it unlocked is the date i unlocked it on my 4670 and that was over 6 months ago.

I used the XFX install cd for the drivers aswell they are new 9.7 ones.

You didn't unlock it on your old card, you unlocked it in drivers. Overdrive is at driver level, not the GPU itself.
