*Goes searching for cheap GTX580s on MM*
I've never paid much attention to benchmarks, are these on par with a 580? What about heat and power usage? Any other benches out there at the moment with these details? I have a corsair VX 550w PSU and would rather not have to buy another PSU.

Impressive as it is...anyone that game 1920 res think AMD should stop holding back the release of the 1.5GB version cards already?

Doubt it, I've been told they won't unlock at all, not after what happened with the HD6950s. It would mean fewer people getting the HD7970.

Or more people getting the 7950 who perhaps otherwise wouldn't have got either.

if they are all non-reference in terms of PCB, waterblocks will be few and far between.
More than likely the 7970 waterblocks should work on the reference 7950.
