My Sony Vaio FW56E laptop has 512Mb Radeon Mobility 4570 graphics, driver version 8.633. I had some issues playing Avatar into a brand new Sony TV yesterday, and noticed that the Realtek HDMI audio is not HDCP compliant. Is this a driver issue? I remember reading there was some issue with updating graphics drivers on certain vendors laptops, including Sony. I've had a look on ATI's website and it seems I can now download the latest driver for this card, before when I tried there was a message saying "go to your Vendor's support pages" (which in Sony's case have no new drivers for download). Is there any reason I can't update manually now?
Thanks in advance...
