ATI versus Nvidia!

noooo! Not what you think, as most arguements seem to be 3D gaming. This is primarily for video, which offers the best picture quality to the outputs, and which have most efficient/best video acceleration?

I have Nvidia 6150 IGP and ATI X300 128MB PCI-E here.

ATi cards have better IQ iirc.

nvidia purevideo is best, far better than avivo. but you need to check nvidias chart to see which gpu supports what features.

I never used Purevideo on the 6150, couldn't get it to work (downloaded it) I think it only works for WMV? used ffdshow instead.

Would there be any difference on video to the digital ports? HDMI/DVI? It shouldn't be, I've followed HDMI output DVD-Video players myself and in theory they should be all the same.
