Got this earlier while playing MW2 sp, game locked up and bluescreened, since then ive not been able to get the 3870x2 to work again, just keep getting a constant bsod loop when trying to load windows.

Ive cleaned out the drivers in safe mode using an older 8500gt, ive tried different driver revisions, ive tried installing win 7 on a different hard drive, issue still exists but after it bsod'ing once it boots up under a generic driver and tells me its disabled the ati card, if i reenable it same situation.

Any suggestions? Ive really no clue what to try.

Nope, brothers case won't accomodate the card =/

Im guessing so as well, a while back the card wouldn't work at all, i tok it apart and reasembled then it kicked in again. The fact that across 2 totally different drives its throwing up the same problem makes me think some part of it has croaked as well.
