can you crossfire this card :D

certainly
in fact they are designed to be used in Crossfire - afterall they are so nice and slim now what would be the point in them NOT being crossfire ready? :D

Dammnn, they do sound awfull, I am getting worried now, but I bought mine 2 years ago so maybe mine is ok? Maybe since I got mine they have started using lower quality components etc...? Have they been bought out by another company aswell? I am scared but then again not scared because my PSU seems ok.

Seriously.. dont worrey about it. My Hiper of 1 year is still going strong. Several PSU manufacturers have been great and then all of a sudden everyone is against them. I wonder what brand is next

Ok, thats made me feel better :).

But yea just because there has be reports of 10 hiper PSU's failing in one weeks or one day dont mean the company is bad dont it? could have just been a bad batch?

My Hiper has lasted through 3 systems and obviously with the 8800GTS this is the most power its been providing and still strong :D

GUYS WE HAVE SAID!
IT IS ONLY THE NEW ONES.
IF YOU HAVE A CURRENT ONE YOU ARE FINE!

I would just advise against buying a NEW Hiper that is all....

tbh im not bothered about the card size lol.

the bigger the better, you know theres more stuff on it then, more features :D

My hiper is 16 months old ,solid :) .I did read in a different forum a guy had a Seasonic PSU(as you know very high quality) and it went faulty and took out his PC,ram, board, video card etc...,Seasonic actually replaced all the parts in his PC for free, that's what I call great customer support, also shows no PSU brand is 100% reliable.

people still moaning about a card thats smaller than the competitions offering?

That was released in november?
Im sure if nvidia spent the extra time cutting the size down from then to now theyd be able to perhaps boast but the fact is they released it months ago and are moving on.

Yeah it is only the new ones which you need to steer clear of.
If your one is 2 years old then it should be fine mate...

Unless you pour petrol on it and start smoking. That would be bad....

well mine and my m8s are 18 months - 2years old, we bought them 3 weeks apart and they just blew up...3 weeks apart

Thank you for proving my point so nicely

how did I prove your point?

you said to stear clear of the new ones...mine was an old one and still blew up?!...as did my friends

or am I missing your point?

Maybe its just a coincidence, there is people like me who have had Hiper PSU's and there rock solid, anywau just because of a coincidence like that doesent mean all Hiper PSU's are crap.

At least Hiper aint as bad as Q-Tec, there the worst crap.
