Hi i have been trying to flash my bios with atiwinflash , i have 2 his iceq cards but every bios i have tried apart from the original his one , ati refuses to flash saying subsystem id mismatch , is there anyway round this , and do you know where to get modded 3870 bios at?

Mod it yourself using the original BIOS

Also use winflash as it is more user friendly

Remember that the flash from within windows will lock up the computer. Perfectly normal.

I had exactly the same problem and had to flash it from DOS using a bootable CD and ATiFlash. Now both my cards have proper fan control 
Here is the thread that helped me out, inc. the .ISO with the files that you need. If your optical drive is SATA you will have to copy the BIOS files off it onto a FAT-formatted USB stick and flash it from that.
