Atmospheric games. What're your recommendations for anyone?

I got it day or two before release, but decided to wait for a patch after had some minor problems when got started.
Got side tracked with something else & still got to get around to it. D'Oh!
Shall start tonight :)
The audio in it though, wow!
 
Just checked settings, nope, just normal audio.
It's bloody good audio though, but not surprising seeing as it's by chaps that made Layers of fear :D

Also check out Cry of Fear if you haven't already. It's free on Steam and whilst it's a bit old now they completely nailed the atmosphere - keeps you constantly on the edge throughout the entire game. Brilliant, brilliant horror game.

Not yet, nope. Got fair way through first, but never really got into them. Think because it's more of jump scare than Amnesia level of game.
Will try again at some point. Perhaps this month as it;s spooky month hehe.

Reminds me, I grabbed Scorn key.
The game looks soooo much better in game than it does in clips can ever do it justice. Melts my antique pc though ;)
Hope this makes it to full release.

Think I "ran & gunned" too much to really notice atmosphere wise, but yep, not bad at all. Especially with that amazing music!

If you like underwater, keep peepers on Debris.
Just been delayed a bit, but looks promising.
Some clips on youtube play show bits of start.
 
Got a nice surprise, kickstarter sent me a survey for Scorn which I backed & found out can get either a steam or DRM free version :eek::D

There's only around half an hours gameplay so far, but wow, it looks amazing!
youtube/twitch clips don't do it justice.

Hadn't heard of it before, but quick look on youtube & it seems alright. Shortish according to HLTB though at 3-6 hours.


Also the Alien Breed series. Almost forgot to add those.
