Atom System Problems

I'm getting my replacement system tomorrow myself. I returned the Atom 230 based Jetway barebone, and I get the newer, better board with the same Atom but Gigabit Ethernet etc.. also picked a slightly bigger chassis.

You can find 2GB Hynix DDR2 for well under £20 too, if you look around :D

Thats the problem I've been having... I'm building a Atom 330 in silverstone LC05 with 500GB hdd, and 2GB ram, but I've got a budget of £200 and the rest I get to keep, so I want cheap but reliable memory so I don't have to replace it... WTF is DDR667 single 2GB sticks so damn expensive, You could by 2x2GB DDR800 for much less than 2x, but I can't use one, cuz if separate the warranty is void....
Damn inflation...

You can put any speed DDR2 as long as it's greater or 400. The stick I have in is 800 and it just settles back to the highest speed supported (533). A bit of a waste, but yes, the 800 is now cheaper than the 400 & 533 in most cases !

um, paper is made out of wood. and trees are conductive - hence when lightening likes striking them... wouldn't that defeat the whole point

Dead trees have no conductive capacity but living ones do have some slight conductive capacity owing to the water in the leaves/trunk.
