Just quickly chucked this together from OcUK... Not on a huge budget, i need to stay away from the £1000 mark ideally...

Here goes...

Asus P5N32-E SLi nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
£129.99
£152.74 inc VAT

Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
£109.99
£129.24 inc VAT

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK)
£109.99
£129.24 inc VAT

Western Digital Raptor 74GB WD740ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache - OEM
£89.99
(£105.74)

Asus GeForce 8800 GTS HTDP 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail
£174.99
(£205.61)

Please let me know where i could save a little and perhaps overclock (a teeny bit), also im not sure if the parts chosen are the better in their class... Im usually drawn to Asus for motherboards, and Nvidia have always been in my gaming rigs hence my choice of hardware...

Cheers for any help guys!! Much appreciated!!!

Alex

Yeah, the case im pretty much set on the Eclipse, as for dvd drive thats covered, and larger hdds i can add later...

This will be a gaming rig, i just want to run Q4 sweet and use it for my MP3s/Surfing...

Thanks! :D

Ps. I dont know if some of the parts are overkill or not... but im sure someone will let me know, just tried future proofing myself as much as possible...

This would be a very good spec close to the 1000 mark:

You didn't mention not needing a PSU so I included one. If you wanted to save a little money you could exchange the RAM for the Crucial Ballistix PC2-5300C4. Both should overclock sky high.
