get the 1.9 TDI remap it then it will be a all round nice motor.

No it'll be a noisy slow diesel, the 2.0T is loads better.

Having just traded my 2.0t, I can vouch for it as an engine.

I was getting 38mpg on a run and 33-35 average, and there's plenty of power for most circumstances. It even manages to sound OK when rev'd.

Wow, beats my current car which gets less than 30 lol. I will look into the 2005 2.0T and the 3.0 tdi as well. Thanks again for all your help.
