Hi there, my dad owns an Audi A8 2.8 year 2000. It has FSH and just shy of 140k. I have been out in the car to replicate the problem that he described. Basically between 30-60 there seems to be a small knock almost like wheel bearing. My dad had both of the front wheel bearings replaced. And the noise is still there. I suggested it could be uneven tyre wear but we checked and they have 5mm+ all over and good tyres (can't remember brand) he always has kept the car in mint and spent lot of money on this car maintaining it. So if anybody can offer any advice it would be great!

Thanks Phil

Could be a driveshaft or gearbox bearing maybe? Does the knocking get worse when throttle is applied, or is it constant depending purely on velocity?
