Just asked the seller a question whether it's HPI clear etc :)

Will be very interested in what he says, he may well tell you the truth but expext you to either pay him all the Cash and he pays the finance off or you pay the finance co. all the cash and he will get the extra money back from them!?

Bet he doesnt tell you how much outstanding tho.

I can never understand why people sell cars with outstanding finance on them...

Because many people buy things on finance these days without fully understanding the implications of doing so.

With a car like the S3 it's likely he has some equity in the car. The way to do it is to find out which finance house owns the car and approach them for a settlement figure. Pay the guy selling it the difference between this and your agreed price.

Fair enough, look elsewhere, plenty of S3s about :).

It's also a 210bhp version since it's a 2000 model. The 225bhp didn't come out until mid 2001. He seems to think Audi lied about the power of the S3, which first came out at the end of 1996, to boost sales of a car (TT) that wasn't released until mid 1999!

S3 was not out in 96, first ones were in 99 iirc.

Pretty big difference between the two engines is that the 225 has an extra intercooler.

Looks incredibly worn for 79k miles as well.

Personally I'd expect immaculate leather seats at anything less than 130k miles unless it's been used around town, in which case I wouldn't want it.

lol, not everyone has a soft ass..you don't half speak some crap man.

Leather does suffer some wear if not treated carefully, especially on sprts seats as the bolsters stick out so get scraped when getting in / out. :)

and you clearly havent owned as many cars with leather interiors as me

for 53k or 99k those seats are incredible poor nick

Dont agree. The seats dont look that worn to me, just a alittle creased. But thats leather for you. A lardy person could easily wdo that after 53k Ive seen some very worn seats at low mileages, especially if the person shifts around a lot and sits on the bolster etc.

Don't mean to troll, but that's not true. I have the 210 and I can assure you it has two intercoolers.
