Audio and DVD Converter

I am looking for an audio file converter including .mp4, mp3, .aac, wma, wav etc.

Also video converters and DVD to ipod converters.

I would prefer it to be Windows and Mac compatible.

Payware or freeware, not really fussed, just want it to be good quality.

Handbrake? Not too sure on the format side of things, but i think its pc/mac compatible.

I found Free Studio.

Will this let me rip and convert DVDs as I already know it does audio file conversions?

They do both audio and video converters, MAC/PC. Been using there software for years, mostly to convert TV shows to play on my iPhone, no problems and very good quality.

Does this copy DVD files that are protected and in .vob format?

Also, will I lose video or sound quality?

Currently when I convert films to my ipod, I find I get black bars, will these disappear with this software?

The best video converter is.....http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ i have used it for 4 years its truely brilliant belive me converts any file and burns it to disc straight after.

For copying a protected movie i use (DVD FAB) or (ANY DVD) they work everytime for me. dvdfab looks like this...
