Hi there,

I am loooking for an application that will just sit on my tray and i can click it and it will change the default audio device.

Does such a program exist?

Thanks.

I searched for ages for something simple to do it, couldn't find owt so in the end I just enabled volume tray icon :(

hmm....I have been doing some research and i have found a way to do it.

....the only problem is that if already have the application open (that is playing the sound eg. winamp), you have to either restart the explorer and rundll32 processes or close and reopen the program.

I can create a program in C# to automatically do all of this, but its the annoyance of having the explorer reset or the program close and open.

I don't mind. This was back when I was using XP. Now I'm using vista the volume tray icon isn't a problem as it stays on far right. On XP it would move around and it was anyoing :p
