Audio editing for 60mins+ tracks

Hey guys. I have Adobe Audition and I have a 75min .mp3 that I want to split up over several parts. The problem is, it only loads about 17mins of the track. There's nothing wrong with it - I've played it fine from start to finish. I get no error message or anything it just doesn't load anything after that. Is there some limit on it or something? I've just free'ed up 5GB of disk space to see if it was something to do with system resources but it isn't. Are there any other programs I could use?

Have you tried Audacity?

If it sonly a stereo track you could try Sound Forge.

Cheers DRZ! I used to use Audacity but totally forgot about it til now. Not as complex as Audition, but does the job.
