audio level display while capturing

Hi

we use a pc to capture live video via firewire but we need some capturing software that displays audio level as well while capturing.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Most capture programs normally have a built in audio metre, what program are you using?

pinnacle studio at the moment which doesn't have a audio level meter while capturing.

Can you name me a prog that does pls?

I don't know any standalone audio monitors but Avid Xpress and Adobe Premiere both have an audio monitor whilst capturing and editing

Hi,
I use prem pro, avid, lots of progs to edit, but to capture I use a little known piece of software called scenalyzer made by some german bloke.

Obviously it caps raw dv but will also go SVCD and a few other pro DV formats.

It allows capture to a few formats for audio too; i.e 1/2 channel stereo or seperate channel mixes and has a very accurate stereo peak meter working during cap.

It's been with me since win 2K and is still working for me in Vista.

A damn fine simple piece of capture software that does the job.
Free to try (stamps a logo on your footage every 300 frames), dirt cheap to buy.
You can't go any better.
