audio recording software

Hi guys, do any of you guys know of a simple audio recording program?. That can make a audio file/recording of sounds inputted through the mic of a laptop. Like the sound recorder program provided in windows xp. The only problem with sound recorder is that it limits the length of recordings made.

Audacity will do this, but if you don't get on with that then MP3myMP3 Recorder or Audio Recorder etc...
