Audio stutter/crackling with 290x crossfire?

Hey everyone

Any suggestions as to what I can do about the above?

I get crackling through my speakers in any game I play with crossfire enabled, even in loading screens where there shouldn't be any audio.

I am using Harmon Kardon Soundsticks, connected into my mobo's onboard audio connections. The issue only occurs when both cards are enabled, not if I use one card in either of the PCIE slots. It doesn't happen any other time than in games.

Earphones connected through my front panel audio jack work fine.

Currently using 16.8.2 drivers, but 16.7.2 and 16.7.3 gave me the same issue.

Make sure all of the other drivers are updated mate too.

Sounds like a DPC latency issue. Google how to check up on that and you will probably find which driver or subset is giving you this issue.
