Audioengine A2+ and A5+ - Second hand

Hi All
I am planning to buy a second hand A2+/A5+. Budget 300 GBP. Please advice me should I go for second hand or first hand. Where can I get best second hand stuff?

I guess you be using them for pc or laptop if so is recommend the Ruark MR1'S cracking Active speakers i own them you can get them for £270 or there newer model for £329
