Took delivery of an Audiolab D9 yesterday, could not beleive it was £800 in a Black Friday sale, as not only are they still going at full price of £1,099 but a couple of places I looked at the other day they were on back-order There were only two of them available, I phoned the guy up to check it was not a return or refurb and he assured me it was brand new still in the box, he said unfortunately it`s just the silver I have left. I said at that price I`ll take it even if it`s red oxide, set it up and using Apple music from the PC, I thought my old Sennheiser 650`s sounded quite good before with a Beresford Caimen dac I had, but they have really come alive now.
It`s sat next to the pc which is sited to the side of me by the sofa, just need to get a power amp probably the Cambridge audio MXW70, the Douk Audio VU3Pro switcher, a couple of balanced XLR cables and run them down to where the AV amp and main front speakers are.
