Took a while to get to Australia, my flight was delayed by 5 hours at Manchester, got to Dubai and had to stay there for a day due to missing the connection flight so I travelled around Dubai and saw the largest tower in the world plus the 7 star hotel in the sea. Was amazing.

Here are some Aussie photos! I shall try and keep this thread updated but I have very limited internet here! Do not miss me too much. :D

I started off in the wild, saw some Kangaroos, Echidnas and wild birds!

Only been here a couple of days, still got weeks left, I have enjoyed it so far. :)

Got so much to do! Just realised it is 4am or so over there right now, so you are all likely to be sleeping. :D

It must not be that warm there if you're wearing a long sleeve jacket :D

To stop me getting scratched! That is why I was covered. Raining currently but the weather is hot! 29 degrees so pretty warm, 35 on wednesday coming up apparently. :-D

My hat isn't that bad! Mind you I have only worn it once for the parrots! :p

Going to touch some platypus and koalas tomorrow. And feed some kangaroos hopefully! I also want to get close to some spiders and snakes. We will see, I have plenty of time only been here a couple of days. :)

How much does 3 weeks in Aus set you back roughly?

Me? I am lucky, about 40 dollars so far. So I couldn't really say, I'd say a few grand for flights and hotel, and have plenty of spending money so you can do what you want.

Echidnas are my favourite animal, very jealous!

Was very rare to see in the wild, saw them on my first day here. One was scared of us, the other was digging for massive ants. I have video footage too, will sort them out in a few weeks when I get back.

Nice Pics Steve,

Its hard doing the Horn alone now your down under lol

Bailey

The horn will be back in force when I am back. :)

Change of plan, going to the museum tomorrow, see the spiders, as it may rain tomorrow so going to stay there as there are loads to do indoors. And go to the sanctuary when it is lovely out. :)

Glad you are liking the photos, 10am here now, will try and get some more photos up later today or I may wait for tomorrow as I am going to the sanctuary so could upload a lot then. I will see. :)

We must know if you bought the playing cards as someone said back a page!

I didn't unfortunately, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a deck like that, as much as I wanted them! Anyone fancy buying them for me? :p

Had a bbq today and went to a huge lake! Got no access to a laptop yet to show more pictures but will get round to it soon. :)

No more new photos... Yet.

Hoping to get more of them up tomorrow, but just an update, I have gotten close with wildlife, from feeding kangaroos and holding wombats, having a wocca sat on my lap, seeing a black widow/red back spider spinning a web, having more colourful birds land on me, battling a Banjo Shark in the sea, and catching some Snappers and seeing wild jelly fish in and out the water.

Going shopping tomorrow, and relaxing a bit as it will be 37 degrees or higher, and hopefully I will have time and access to upload some more photos for you.

If you can ever in your lifetime get to Australia, make sure you plan and save, and do everything you can. If you go to Melbourne, it is a brilliant place. I am considering taking a trip to the great barrier reef next time I come here as I have heard so much about the place.

My new years resolution was to enjoy my own life a bit more, and simply have fun and do things I may not do ever do again. This has been a great start for me.

Just worried that I have started on something that cannot be beaten. We will see!
