Wow ros on medium, you would have thought they split them.
But merc is still clearly the faster car. But they could be sitting ducks at the end. It's still on the limit.

Realistically they are the faster car, after a couple of laps they can probably go the same pace on mediums as others on softer compounds but I'm not at all convinced they'll have good pace on those tires after 25laps.

It's very possible he couldn't overtake even on supersofts but with mediums if he can hang in there and get track position after pitstops.

I'm not sure Merc can't and won't have to pit again but if the tires hold on till they get track position then can pump in 5-10 very fast laps before pitting they might well have the gap they need to make up multiple places for Ham, one for Rosberg.
