Auto Converting .NEF

Is there anyway I can get my mac to auto convert all my .NEF's into .JPG's? Usually I would do it myself manually as I go tweaking my photos, but I've got quite a few photos I just want to convert and send to a friend.

Any ideas?

if you have access to photo shop this will do it ive never used lightroom but im sure it will as well

Just set up an action to do it. Actions have saved me many an hour of repetitive clicking.
