Has anyone used them? Specifically the snow foam (I know some people have used some kind of snow foam) and the britewheels(?) stuff?

I don't want to use acidic cleaners on my wheels, and normal car shampoo + brush doesn't seem too effective, and/or gets me covered in black crap splatter from using the brush. I can't seem to avoid that, so as little agitation as possible is desirable.

Also, with the snow foam stuff - IF it's any good for a pre-wash soak thing (or if it's not, can you recommend anything else) does it require the use of a special lance - I have a karcher washer and saw there's a special foamy lance attachment thingy available.

The snow foam is one of the best foaming pre washs you can get mostly because of the amount of foam it produces when combined with the foam lance attachment you have mentioned. Go for it wont regret it :D

Snow foam is a waste of money, 'detailers' use it as a pre-wash, it just looks pretty when applied, doesnt acually shift much crap imo.If you do want a prewash, then just put some normal car shampoo in the bottle, doesnt look as nice or cost as much but it does a similar crappy job:p

Their other stuff is pretty good, personally i use Wheelbrightener from Meguiars, it is acidic but it dont half shift the stains and grime from your wheels.

Well I tried that with some meguiars shampoo in the little bottle thing - all I got out the nozzle was water

I thought I'd got it mixed up quite well with the water that was in there, but maybe it's just too viscous

The only thing I've used so far that resulted in foam/suds was the karcher stuff I got with the machine, it just smelt of toilet duck and didn't seem very effective.
