Hello
I just noticed that my temperatures are abnormally high. So I ran CPUz and noticed that my cpu is running at 4.4ghz is there any way to fixate it to max 4-4.1ghz.

The cpu in question is FX8120/ Sabertooth 990fx r2
This has only started to be noticeable when I updated the bios to 1708.
P.S it's mostly that multiplier changes.
Thanks

You dont need to set everything to manuel.. just disable the overclocking feature. Its under AI tweaker just above the multiplier setting.

Cm v6gt

I want it to be overclocked but it automatically gives it too high voltage, it's actually gotten a lot cooler must be the mx4 setting.

Just played around with overclocking it and 4.139ghz on 1.27v
That is so much better than the overclock that asus tuner gave me, at a lower voltage...
just by bumping multiplier by 1

Auto-overclocks are often a bit over generous with voltage. Settle on a speed you want, then manually set the voltage and keep decreasing it slightly until the system stops being stable.

An FX-8120 should be able to do 4.1GHz without much effort.

It's sitting at 4.2ghz and 1.35v seems to be stable In games I put it up to 4.5 at that voltage but every frame seemed accelerated , so I guess I need more voltage if I'm going any higher.

Also what should I bump voltage up by and when. Also nb it's at 260 should I increase that?
