autoupdate firefox extentions?

how can i do this?

is there an extention that can do it

Go into tools--options--advanced--update, set it as you like it there. Already built into Firefox

There is that or you could install an extension if the idea of using an extension to update extension makes you giggle. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2098/ You can set this to check for updates every time you start Firefox, automatically install the updates and the make Firefox prompt to restart itself to install the updates. You get an icon of a grey circle with a white arrow. It changes colour to orange I think when updates are available and then green when they've been installed.

that doesn't update them it only checks for updates
