Auzentech Prelude release date?

Have you guys got a confirmed release date? Been waiting on this for so long I bought a meridian, and I don't like it very much

Though their range of cards has been impressive over the years, Auzentech
does seem next to useless when it comes to release dates.

It took them over 1/2 a year just to release the daughterboard for the X-meridian :rolleyes:

. God only knows when we'll see the Prelude. It should have been the end of July, now some people are saying we'll be lucky to be catch sight of one this year :rolleyes:

Another site has it dated 31st of August. It's been delayed twice.

Ive just put one on pre-order

Im looking forward to it, been reading about it for a while now... should be awesome! I was wanting a mint sound card for when Bioshock arrives, but I'll just have to put Bioshock on the shelf until this arrives lol. This card and my Z-5500 should be insane!

im also in need of a soundcard for my 5500's eax 5 and dts :O seems a dream hehe

i do plan on adding vista ultimate +4gb of ram so i hope they dont crackle with 4gb like the other xi-fi's also worth noting u dont get ddl or dts in vista out of the box its q1 2008!?

as and when they enable the DDL then i'll get one. i wont be buying one on the promise that it could happen though.

I've just read elsewhere that, logically I suppose, Creative will be supplying the driver set for this new card.

There goes any hope I had of it actually being an improvement, driver-wise. But, I'll wait and see before I splash out
