AV software

before someone says, i know this is asked all the time, but times change and so does software, my NOD32 is coming up for renewal, but ive noticed they are knocking out kaspersky security for £14 at OC, question
what should i do???????????

I'd stick with Nod32 personally.

Im still on AVG but hear of people praising Nod32 all the time. Any free versions of it?

It's very good and low on resources.
For Vista, I use their Smart Security suite which is better still.
If you're unsure - get their 30day trial as Duke suggests.
It's very much no thrills and to the point software though - so don't go expecting needless graphical interfaces like Norton. lol
Minimal, to the point, and it works - fantastic, been using it for over 3 years and only got 2 viruses which were due to my own stupidity.

Antivir is supposed to be the best free one at the moment if you want a slightly different option.

Been using NOD32 for 3 years with no problems, you don't even know it's there until you want it to!

It just sits there and does nothing afaik.

Until it tells me its updated its detections. When I first bought NOD32 I had to keep forcing it to check for new detections, I wasn't convinced anything could be this "quiet". :eek:
