I would get one if it weren't for the fact that I tend to batter my keyboards in a fit of rage every now and then. This is why I use a fairly cheap microsoft one.:p

I've been smashing the hell out of my Cherry G80 for 18 years, mech boards can take one hell of a pounding, the only issue with it is that I punched it so hard at one point I lost the numlock and have had to repelace it with a spare arrow keycap from a Qpad.

*That board has Cherry switches but Razer's Cherry clones "should" be built just as well.

That tournament edition looks very nice and tidy. As I'm using a G110 though, losing the number pad and the macro keys will make a significantly smaller keyboard for me...

Apologies for the bump, I've been looking to get the Tournament edition, but it just says "Pre-order". Any ideas when this will be released?

they land saturday at UK Distribution

we will have them next week

put a pre order in :)

They aren't any cheaper than last years models, perhaps at launch. Either manufacturing costs have gone up or Razer is pocketing the difference :p

What's the difference between the Ultimate and the Ultimate Stealth?
If it's anything like the 2013 versions the regular will be clicky and the stealth won't be.

Am I reading those specs incorrectly or is there a £35 premium for backlighting?

I can't see any other difference between the Ultimate and Expert apart from a game I'm not interested in (if that is included).

So instead of using German engineered proven switches they switched over to cheaper Chinese variants to save a little bit of money, Yeah Razer, Thinking of the user aren't you

EDIT Don't get me wrong I like the design of Razers stuff, I have some myself but anyone with half a brain cell can see right through this that these "Gamer Orientated" switches are just cheaper to make than using the Cherry MX version.
