Avatar Items

So it's ben a little while now since the avatars for the 360 were released, and there was the promise (and even the option in the dash) for game rewards, and so far we have seen....none.

Do you think we will ever see such items being awarded for achieving things in game, or will companies just push the paid for items?

Seems such a waste of a feature.

There have been a few. Perfect Dark XBLA, Splosion man and Halo Way Point all give you Avatar awards and I think there maybe a few others.

I do agree it is an under used feature though and I had hoped more would have exploited it by now.

Oh, I didn't realise that these games gave items, haven't downloaded an XBL game. It would be nice if the major game releases included such items as well. I am dying to give little Konvict a Ghillie suit.

Yeah there's a few.

L4D2 - you can get a health pack, t-shirts etc.

Lips - Hat, Jacket, Trousers, Boots, Glasses

HALO Waypoint - ODST Suit, Oracle, Helmet


Few others I can't think of off the top of my head.

Yeah as the others have mentioned. Although im a bit miffed that when i completed the l4d2 camps with a friend locally/online i didnt get the medi pack.
