I like it, theres something about the blue that makes it feel friendlier. But if you don't like it then why not use a custom stylesheet.

Edit: or do what Scubascorpion suggested, not sure how comfortable that would be though...

Please not I like the basic format of this site and the dons have enough trouble making everyone's sig still fit the dial up rule.

While it's probably safe to say that the amount of people using dial-up now is fractionally small compared to the overall userbase the problem I suspect is now oddly greater than it has been for many years with so many people using smartphones and netbooks/tablets to access the forums so they've possibly either got limited screensize and/or limited data.

Even on a normal laptop I find it annoying having to scroll past large signature sizes so while the size of the signatures isn't automatically a huge issue for me the simplicity and rigidness of the rules on signatures is something that appeals.

Agreed about the sigs. I like the 'no frills' look of these forums and cannot stand the way some forums allow a massive sig, centrally justified load of text like song lyrics and then another sig.
