Avenged Sevenfold.?

Sounding of the seventh trumpet & Waking the fallen are good, anything after that is really really poor in comparison. City of evil is City of failboat.
 
Woaaaaah.? sounding was the first album and avenged sevenfold the last, two VERY different styles of music IMO i think there a very underated band, synyster is one of the greatest guitarists of the modern day.
 
They're good, Waking the Fallen was the best album IMO, after that they kinda tailed off a bit. We want a nice mix of heavy and soft stuff thanks, not rampant radio friendly pop-rock.
 
Saw these when they supported Maiden at Twickenham. Wouldn't say they are any better than "alright".

I could never choose my Top Band its all Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Metallica etc. Avenged sevenfold has nothing on them but i do still enjoy A7X. Just not city of evil and their new album.
 
I had not heard any of there material, but I was very, very impressed with the song Bat Country I just heard.

Hard driving rock like Guns N' Roses, but with a very metal solo duel! Fans of GnR might be interested by the sounds of things.

Saw them at Download 06.

It's says a lot when the only time in your set the crowd gets going is when you play Walk. I thought they were incredibly mediocre, much better than BFMV but not quite as good as Trivium. Saying that, even Trivium are only an okay band. They had so much potential, but just unfortunately didn't live up to it.
