Well currently have a MG ZR the sound system isn't so great, well since i have never tampered with the sound before i was wondering what i would need, i have around a budget of 300 pound can push to 400 if needed. i have had a look around but am not 100% sure on what is needed. Any advice is helpful

Thanks :D

On that budget, I would go for a decent head unit, pioneer are highly rated.

Got a kenwood about 4 year ago myself and plays everything been in four cars now, and in a crash where the faceplate got thrown into the boot of the car, yet it still works as good as brand new :D

A decent set of component speakers, yet again I went with Kenwood ones, same again still work great.

Mines all together came to about 200, altough I'm planning on upgrading them on the next car.

O and you will need to check the biggest size of speakers you can fit in behind the door cards, bigger the better!

Sounded SUPERB!!! still got the speakers, undecided whether to fit them in my current car or not

Infinity Reference 1050W £50

12" version of the sub is £20 more.

Total £394

You'll be a little over by the time you've added cable and a sub box (you could try making a sub box?)

will be a reasonable little system there.
