Avermedia HDMI capture file overwriting problem

I'm using Avermedia GL310 LGP Lite USB 2.0 capture box.

I am capturing 1080p30 at 50MBPS to an external exFAT drive. When the filesize hits 4GB the file instantly gets overwritten and I lose whatever has been captured so far.

I am trying to google search for it but not having much joy.

Does anyone have an Avermedia device have same problem?

Does exFAT support files over 4GB as you may need to format to NTFS
