AVI Codec Packs

Hi guys

My Computer is suddenly throwing a hissyfit over playing anything other than WMV's! I need a good new AVI codec pack to install.

Any suggestions?

www.free-codecs.com is another good place to get codecs.

Tried vlc ?

Never had to install codecs when vlc can play most things you can throw at it.

MPC-HC is a good choice too, like VLC it'll play most stuff without installing additional codecs.

Also have a look in the Video Codecs section, CCCP and FFDShow are very good...

I'd avoid mega codec packs like the plague.

VLC, FFDshow, AC3filter and that should be fine for pretty much anything.
