Hey all,

Basically I'm on holiday at the moment in the UK (Center Parcs) and they have a lovely watch shop where I have spied a nice looking Aviator watch (Whilst you all will say its rubbish and cheap I only have a budget of ~£100)

It is an AVW7770G59 however when I google this you get some weird results basically saying everything from its fake to its not made by Aviator and is worthless to its genuine with non quartz movements some say there are quartz movements.

So can somebody more knowledgeable about watches enlighten me?

Thanks :D

I thought this was like a "Megan Fox Watch" sort of thread but you're keeping an eye out for people wearing aviators.

Disappointed. :(

I take it the model no. you posted is for the world time pilots watch? (with the propeller shaped chronograph?) If so I have that watch. For the price it feels a solid watch quite heavy, it has a Japenese quartz movement apparently, stainless steel back, water resistant to 10 ATM and a good strap. I have dropped the watch on its face a few times and there are no scratches yet. Mine came with cert of authenticity. Bought it in Feb this year whilst on holiday overall quite happy with it.

Yes I do like it, as I said I t feels well made to me and at under £100 worth the money. I actually bought it on my way to Sydney, and I ended up using the world time bezel quite a bit to work out the time back here in the UK. It's quite easy and only took seconds to figure out the time anywhere in the world. I like the watch as its completely analogue, not a fan of digital. Whilst I have only had it 3 months I am more than happy with the purchase, and it has not lost any time.
