Hi Guys,

Trying to adjust these as the pads are rubbing but my Fisher did not ship with a manual. The ones on the SRAM/Avid site do not appear to have anything relating to pad adjustments. The SRAM avid site also does not have any support contact details. Tried contacting fisher and they said "go to SRAM" for the manual.

Any ideas how these things are adjusted?

Thanks in advance of any pointers.

Are the pads rubbing on both sides?
If so, it could be that you've got too much fluid in them.

Are the pads rubbing on 1 side only?
Try loosening the bolts holding the caliper to the frame/fork then hold the brake on to centre the caliper and tighten the bolts.
This could also be caused by a buckled disc - check that it's running true.

If neither of these help, it could be that the pistons dont retract properly. Take the caliper off the bike and pump the pistons out. Clean around the seals and wipe the sides of the piston. Lube with brake fluid and push them back in. (You'll need to bleed them again after this)
